FMP - Brief 5 Collaboration with Sophie

Sophie and myself had a brief discussion before Christmas about a possible collaboration. She suggested we did something with the company, Laura Ashley, regarding its branding and product range and creating an Home Interiors Collection brief, working to our individual skills; Sophies lying in branding, myself in illustration.

We met up for a few hours to discuss what we could potentially do. An idea we both had was to produce a summer product range and brand, it was nice to see our interests and ideas for the brief were so similar, as I've wanted to work with Sophie for a while now. Each of us within the brief will be focusing on our specialism in skills, Sophie working on the branding development and promotion through several medias and paper based products, and myself in regard to illustration, creating printed textiles and surface pattern context to push across the collection of products. Overall with the products produced this will be quite a substantial brief.

We decided that within the coming weeks to try and research Laura Ashley best we can, to get a better understanding of what we could do and create.
