FMP - Brief 5 - Final product shots

Today me and Sophie booked a photography studio out to take shots for the look boko as well as my boards. Soph took the photos as shes far more experienced than I am and did brill. I can't wait to see them in the look book Soph has yet to make!

FMP - Brief 5 - Tags & swatch book

For most of the products I have designed stickers to attach to the underside of the glassware, for items which cant hold stickers, i've produced tags to be clipped onto the lamp, coffee table runner and cushion.

I had proposed we produced a wallpaper swatch book to add to the collection. After managing to get my hands on some super zigzag scissors, i kept the design consistent by holding them together with the same ribbon.

FMP - Brief 5 - In context images...in context

For the purposes of submission I felt it a good idea to showcase the long amount of hours and energy spent working the surface pattern designs into images for the lookbook. Sophie has already made a look book using the images I created, but as she worked on it, I didn't really want to take credit for it and submit a copy, so I made a quick, just images, look book.

FMP - Brief 5 - Production

So after a brief catch up with Sophie over how to approach the designs for the home furnishings, and a plan of action I set to printing the the stickers and arranging them on the products. After hours of cutting and sticking i'm pretty pleased with the outcome and can't wait to see the final product photographs.

FMP - Brief 5 - Fabric Construction

With the fabric digitally printed, me and Sophie thought it a good idea to construct our own pillow case and coffee table runner. I manage to pull a favour from Thirftbox owner Lauren, as a favour to help me out.

FMP - Brief 5 - In store Interior Graphics

 For the interior retail Graphics I wanted the surface pattern design to be in context across the range of living room accessories and soft furnishing we are yet to produce and print onto. Laura Ashley promote its range by having rooms set up within store, so baring this in mind I have created a room on mydeco.com to push into photoshop and apply the design material me and Sophie have already produced.

I managed to adjust the colours to be more inkeeping with the surface pattern design, to be more pink. I have tried to push the surface pattern design across as many elements as I could within the interior design, to really show how the range works in context.

Adding signage to communicate the collection in context, rather than having banners and posters within the room. I've produced a range to put forward to Sophie to get her opinion as to what she feels works best.
